Our Story
Our journey has been anything but ordinary. At every step, we've remained grounded in our values and steadfast in the commitments we make. We began in temporary staffing, but quickly realized it wasn't where we could create the kind of lasting change we longed for. The work felt transactional — and we were after something relational.
We leaned into the stories of our candidates and recognized they wanted to make a serious impact in their next role. They also valued long-term relationships and organizations that care deeply about their culture.
That pursuit led us toward permanent placement, where slowing down and centering character and values above all else opened new doors — and a better way forward.

Meet Matthew Mays
Matthew Mays is the Founder of Kingdom Staffing, bringing more than a decade of executive leadership, entrepreneurship, and business consulting experience to the recruiting industry. Throughout his career, he has built and led multiple businesses, managed teams of more than 150 employees, and helped organizations improve operations, strengthen financial performance, and develop high-performing teams.
Having hired hundreds of employees throughout his career, Matthew understands that great businesses are built by great people. His experience as both a business owner and hiring manager gives him a unique perspective on what organizations need—not just the skills to perform a job, but the character, work ethic, and cultural fit that lead to long-term success.
Matthew founded Kingdom Staffing with a simple mission: to bring integrity, transparency, and genuine partnership back to the hiring process. He believes recruiting should be relationship-driven rather than transaction-driven, helping employers build exceptional teams while connecting candidates with opportunities where they can thrive both professionally and personally.
